Pitt Lake

Serenity is the word that describes this tour to the wilderness of Pitt Lake. After passing through the bustling activity on the Fraser River, passengers will emerge into the quiet tranquillity and panoramic beauty of the majestic fjord. This beautiful, fresh water tidal lake is one of the largest of its kind. Grassy, reverse deltas appear daily in the center of the lake as the tide recedes. We'll travel along the cliffside and observe the one hundred year old Indian pictographs. This area is still a wilderness and home to bears and cougars. Please note: This cruise is on board the very comfortable catamaran "Beta Star" which holds up to 40 passengers.
